FAQ
Q. What is the difference between CD duplication and replication?
A. Duplication is a CD or DVD with the image burned into the readable layer of the disk. Replication is a CD that the image is stamped into the readable layer of the disk with a master made from glass. For shorter runs duplication is the most economical way to go, while replication is reserved for larger runs.
Q. What is the minimum run I can make?
A. There is no minimum run. Our specialty is being able to handle the smallest of runs as well as the largest. We can produce a top quality product at any number, from 2 to 2 million.
Q. What is the difference between a DVD-R and DVD+R?
A. There is no real standard to DVD R like there is in CD’s. The difference is the way they are read by your DVD players. The most common is DVD-R, as it will play in most DVD players.
Q. What is DVD authoring?
A. DVD authoring is the process of making a DVD video compatible with a standard DVD player. During the authoring process we are able to add menus, and chapter points as well as your individual graphics.
Q. How do you put the graphic on my disc, do you use a paper label?
A. NO, we never use paper labels. Paper labels are damaging to your disc over time and also cause the disc to be out of balance, this can make the disc skip and damage your player. For short run disc duplication we are able to print full color CMYK images directly onto the disc with photographic quality.
